The Minister of Health receives the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency – New Algeria

According to a statement by the Ministry of Health, this meeting comes within the framework of strengthening cooperation relations between Algeria and the International Atomic Energy Agency. The meeting discussed ways to expand the horizons of cooperation between the two parties by supporting training programs in the fields Nuclear medicine. Treatment is through preparing programs to train doctors and medical device operators in the same fields. Creating reference centers such as the Cancer Control Center at Bab El Oued University Hospital to be a center for training and transferring expertise.

The possibility of forming two Algerian components in cooperation with the agency’s experts was also discussed, while expanding these initiatives on the African continent.

In this context, the Minister stressed that Algeria attaches strategic importance to the partnership with the International Atomic Energy Agency.
