The Minister of Foreign Trade discusses enhancing the contribution of the hotel and tourism sector to the export of services – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

Today, Monday, the Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Kamal Raziq, received a delegation from the National Federation of Hotels and Tourism, headed by Abdel Wahab Boulfkhad, to discuss ways to enhance the contribution of the hotel and tourism services sector to the export of services, according to a statement by the ministry.

The meeting, which was attended by members of the Federation, was an opportunity to discuss opening new horizons for the export of services, in light of the growing interest in the Algerian destination at the regional and international levels, and to listen to the concerns and suggestions of professionals, especially with regard to accompanying customers to enhance the competitiveness of Algerian hotel institutions.

Minister Raziq stressed his sector’s keenness to continue coordination and consultation with professional actors, and to encourage initiatives that support exports of services, in line with national trends aimed at diversifying the national economy.

The Ministry explained that the meeting comes within the framework of engaging various economic actors and professional representatives of the people, and accompanying dealers in developing activities related to the hotel and tourism sector.
