The Minister of Environment discussed with her Qatari counterpart the prospects for environmental cooperation – New Algeria

Today, Tuesday, at the ministry’s headquarters, the Minister of Environment and Quality of Life, Kawthar Krikou, received the Minister of Environment and Climate Change of the State of Qatar, Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Subaie, accompanied by a high-level delegation, according to a statement by the ministry.

Based on the same statement, This meeting was an opportunity to exchange visions on the prospects for consolidating bilateral cooperation between the two countries, especially in the areas of environmental protection and addressing the challenges associated with climate change, as well as exchanging expertise and experiences in promoting sustainable development paths.

The meeting also came within the framework of strengthening bilateral cooperation relations between Algeria and the sister State of Qatar in the environmental field.
