The Minister of Communication confirms the support of the Algerian Media Network to promote children’s rights – New Algeria

Today, Sunday, the Minister of Communication, Dr. Zouhair Bouamama, accompanied by the National Commissioner for the Protection of Child Rights, Meriem Charafi, supervised the opening of the activities of a training course for the network of Algerian media professionals to promote children’s rights, where he emphasized the Ministry’s support for this body.
This session, which came under the slogan: “Children and the Challenges of New Media,” was organized in coordination with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Algeria office.
The Minister of Communication stressed the importance of developing the capabilities of journalists in the field of addressing childhood issues. In line with the rapid transformations in the digital space.
Highlighting the importance of specialized training, which is an essential foundation for improving media performance and serving national issues.
The Minister of Communications also stressed the privacy of media content directed to children. Which in essence is based on educational and value awareness for children. In order to enable us to confront the challenges imposed on our children by negative media content.
