The Minister of Agriculture launches an afforestation campaign to plant 5 million trees – New Algeria

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Yassin Walid, accompanied by the association activist, Fouad Moalla, announced the organization of… Afforestation campaign A major initiative to plant five million trees, as part of a continuing national effort to protect forests and enhance vegetation cover.

The minister explained, today, Friday, through a post via: The official page of the Ministry On Facebook, “After the great success of the national afforestation operation on October 25, which witnessed the planting of one million and 410 thousand trees thanks to the mobilization of citizens, associations, youth and various bodies, we meet again on a larger national date.”

The Minister revealed that this process will be organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, the General Directorate of Forestry and the Green Algeria Association, and falls within a vision aimed at preserving natural resources and consolidating a culture of environmental citizenship.
