The Maghreb Samoud fleet announces its entry into the territorial waters of the Gaza Strip

The Maghreb steadfast fleet participating in the global resilience fleet to break the siege on Gaza announced today, Thursday, that it entered the territorial waters of the Gaza Strip, approaching its goal of breaking the blockade imposed on the Strip, despite an Israeli objection and attempts to stop it at sea. The fleet announced in a post on the Facebook platform: “We passed the regional waters, and separated us from the beaches of Gaza 8.4 naval miles (about 15 km).”

The fleet said, heading to the participants: “Our heroes are now inhale the air Support and steadfastness.

Since yesterday evening Wednesday evening, the Global Resilience Fleet has been subjected to an objection by the Israeli navy, and the fleet said, on Wednesday, through the X platform that it was attacked by about 10 Israeli ships, and launched a distress call after some of its ships objected to international waters, stressing that this is a “war crime.” The fleet announced, at dawn on Thursday, that 30 of its ships continued to sail about 46 miles from Gaza, despite the ongoing Israeli attacks, including spraying with compressed water and deliberately colliding with ships, which represents a “crime against humanity.”

The global resilience fleet indicated in separate leaflets on Telegram that the occupation forces occupied the boats “SBCTR”, “Alma”, “Sirius” and others in international waters, and that the situation of those on board are not sure. The boats were about 70 nautical miles away when they were intercepted off the destroyed sector inside an area monitored by Israel to prevent any boats approaching Gaza.

Unofficial occupation channels reported on the Telegram platform, on Thursday, that the Israeli occupation army has so far taken control of more than 40 ships from the steadfast fleet of Gaza, through the Navy forces, including the commandos of the “Chaitette 13”. The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs also announced in a statement that Al -Samoud fleet activists are on their way to Israel, where their deportation procedures will begin to Europe.

In the past days, international organizations, including “Amnesty International”, called for protection for the “resilience fleet”, while the United Nations confirmed that any attack on it “cannot be accepted.” The Israeli occupation had previously done piracy against ships heading towards Gaza and seized it and deported the activists on board. This is the first time that dozens of ships combined towards Gaza, which is inhabited by about 2.4 million Palestinians, sailed in a collective attempt to break the Israeli blockade of the Strip for 18 years.
