The law criminalizing colonialism is on the table of the National Assembly – New Algeria

The National Assembly is preparing to discuss the text of the law criminalizing the French colonization of Algeria during the plenary session scheduled for next Wednesday, January 21, as part of following up on Parliament’s efforts to establish historical justice and protect the rights of the national state, according to the Council’s statement, today, Sunday.
This comes after an expanded meeting of the National Assembly Office, the parliamentary groups, and the Parliament’s observer, held today, Sunday, under the chairmanship of Azouz Nasseri, which will be devoted to studying and discussing five (5) texts of laws; In addition to studying the status of oral and written questions submitted to the office; In addition to confirming the membership of a new member in the National Assembly entitled the presidential third, as well as setting the Council’s work agenda for the period from January 13 to 22.
During the meeting, it was decided to refer the text of the law criminalizing French colonialism in Algeria to the National Defense Committee to prepare a preliminary report to present to a vote.
