The martyrdom of journalist Saleh Al-Jaafrawi a few days ago caused a great wave of sadness in the Arab and even Western media, especially since the young Palestinian man was betrayed by terrorists loyal to the army of the Zionist entity.
Al-Jaafrawi, 27 years old, was famous for documenting the events of the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the Israeli aggression that followed the Al-Aqsa Flood operation.

The martyr Saleh Al-Jaafrawi, a graduate of the Faculty of Arts at the Islamic University of Gaza in 2019, did not turn a blind eye. Disregard the conditions that the sector has witnessed during the last two years.
He became the mirror that reflects what is happening in the streets of Gaza, as his mobile phone camera transmitted the crimes of the Zionist entity and conveyed the suffering of its people through a media message that resonated throughout the world.
Al-Jaafrawi was fond of sports and practiced it, and even became a professional in table tennis, leading him to participate in international competitions.
The player carried the shirt of the Al-Sadaqa Sports Club in Gaza, opening the doors to the national team and participating in the Arab Championship.
The late Palestinian’s last appearance dates back to January 2023, when he represented his country in the Doha Championship.
At that time, Al-Jaafrawi faced a strong competitor in the round of 16, whom he defeated in three games to no, namely South Korean Hyuk Kwan.
The International Table Tennis Federation mourned Saleh in an official statement published on the website.
The text of the statement read: “The International Table Tennis Federation is saddened by the loss of Saleh Al-Jaafrawi, who lost his life in a tragic way this month.”
The international body that administers the game’s affairs recognized the martyr’s presence in international competitions under the Palestinian flag.
The World Table Tennis Federation offered its sincere condolences to its Palestinian counterpart, and to the family and friends of the deceased.
The same source also denounced all forms of violence, and renewed its concern about the safety of members of the game family throughout the world.
