The High Authority for Transparency concludes its participation in the Anti-Corruption Conference in Doha – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

The Supreme Authority for Transparency and Prevention of Corruption concluded its participation in the Conference of States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption in the Qatari capital, Doha, recording an effective presence and qualitative participation within the official Algerian delegation, which reflects Algeria’s commitment to enhancing transparency and consolidating the principles of integrity at the national and international levels.
On the sidelines of the conference, the President of the Authority, Salima Masrati, received a delegation from the Palestinian Anti-Corruption Commission, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in the future, especially in raising young people on the values of integrity, citizenship, and moral behavior.
Masrati also presented the authority’s strategy and goals related to preventing corruption, promoting transparency, and adopting educational and awareness-raising approaches to build a sustainable culture of integrity.
In a side activity, the Head of Authority gave a presentation on the Algerian experience in enhancing integrity and evaluation and governance mechanisms, including the “Integrity” efficiency index, which is used to evaluate transparency efforts, improve public performance, and consolidate a culture of integrity at the institutional level.
The activity witnessed a wide attendance of participating delegations, confirming the growing interest in exchanging experiences and innovative tools to promote the principles of transparency and accountability.
