Kuwaiti businessman, Fawaz Al-Hasawi, former owner of the English club Nottingham Forest, was injured. He suffered injuries to his hands as a result of knife stab wounds during a robbery inside his home in London.
Al-Hasawi resides in one of the palaces in the upscale Mayfair neighborhood in the British capital, whose value was estimated at about 10 million pounds sterling.
The Sun newspaper reported that the thieves stormed the room where Al-Hasawi (57 years old) was sleeping.
Al-Ma’ani clashed with them and suffered stab wounds in his left hand and neck, and to a lesser extent in one of the fingers of his right hand.
According to security sources, the incident is classified as a crime, as the intruders deliberately attacked Al-Hasawi in an attempted premeditated murder.

Lawyers for the Kuwaiti businessmen called on the British police to disclose more details about the incident due to the escalating wave of anxiety among businessmen, most of whom hail from the Middle East.
Al-Hassawi took over ownership of Nottingham Forest between 2012 and 2017, during which time nine coaches took over the coaching staff of the first football team.
The former owner of the Kuwaiti club Al-Qadisiyah also left Forest after the club’s fans protested against him.
Al-Hassawi sold his stake to the Greek businessman, Evangelos Marinakis, owner of the Greek club Olympiacos.
Forest’s situation improved after that, as it was able to achieve promotion to the English Premier League in 2022.
The team recorded excellent results last season, finishing the local competition in seventh place to qualify for the European League.
By contrast, Nottingham Forest are struggling this season domestically as they battle to avoid a return to the top flight.
