The beginning of launching frozen chicken in the Algerian market at an attractive price – Al-Hiwar Algerian newspaper

Livestock Nutrition and Poultry Breeding (ONAP) announced that it will begin gradually supplying the national market with quantities of frozen chicken at a price of 330 DZD per kilogram, in anticipation of the month of Ramadan, with the aim of ensuring the abundance of this material and contributing to the stability of its prices in support of the purchasing power of citizens.

The Corporation explained that, in implementation of the directives of the Food and Logistics Industries Complex, it has provided a significant stock of frozen chicken, with an initial quantity estimated at 2,000 tons, which will be gradually marketed through various approved distribution channels, with the price set at 330 DZD per kilogram.

In parallel with marketing frozen chicken, ONAP continues to provide fresh chicken daily at its sales points, to ensure regular supply and meet the needs of citizens throughout the holy month.

The Foundation also indicated the spread of its sales points across several municipalities in the capital, including Zeralda, Ain Al-Benyan, Hussein Dey, Casablanca, Ben Talha, Sidi Moussa, Bir Tota, Bir Khadem, Sharaga and the new city of Sidi Abdullah.

Its products are also present within the Ramadan tents organized in coordination with the Joint National Professional Office for Vegetables and Meat, in addition to spaces belonging to the Algerian Exhibition and Export Company.

Through this initiative, the Foundation affirmed its commitment to ensuring regular supply to the national market and contributing to the stability of white meat prices during Ramadan, while ensuring the provision of quality products that meet the needs of citizens.
