The army thwarts attempts to enter a Moroccan drug

During a week, the National People’s Army detachments managed to arrest 5 support elements for terrorist groups, while 41 drug dealers were arrested and attempts to introduce approximately 5 guns of the treated, over the border with Morocco.

A statement by the Ministry of National Defense stated on Wednesday that in the context of combating terrorism, the detachments of the National People’s Army were able to uncover and destroy 12 terrorist groups, and 13 traditional mines in Khenchela, with the arrest of 5 support elements of terrorist groups, during separate operations across the national territory.

In the same context, and in the context of fighting organized crime and continuing the relentless efforts aimed at addressing the scourge of drug trafficking in the country, joint detachments of the National People’s Army, in coordination with the various security services, were arrested 41 drug dealers, while thwarting attempts to enter 4.78 quintals from the tubes treated across the border with Morocco, as well as the seizure of 1.150,627 hallucinogenic tablets.

The detachments of the National Army also arrested 146 people in Tamanrasset, the Baji Mukhtar Tower, that Saleh, Qazam, Gant, seized 23 vehicles, 150 electric generators, and 107 pressure hammer, 65 metal detectors, in addition to quantities of gold and stones and equipment used in the illegal gold excavations;

The statement added that other army detachments also have had 6 other people and seized 3 Kalashnikov machine guns, 4 hunting rifles, and 32.060 liters of fuel, in addition to 14 tons of foodstuffs directed to smuggling and speculation, and this is during separate operations.

On the other hand, the coast guards thwarted illegal immigration attempts on the national coast, and rescued 20 people on traditional boats, while 276 illegal immigrants of different nationalities were arrested through the national territory.
