During a week, the National People’s Army detachments managed to eliminate 4 terrorists and retrieve 5 Kalashnikov machine guns, while a terrorist surrendered to the military authorities, in addition to the arrest of 9 support elements for terrorist groups.
According to the Ministry of National Defense statement, on Wednesday, in the context of combating terrorism, detachments of the National People’s Army at the southeastern border in the fourth military side managed to eliminate 4 terrorists and retrieve 5 Kalashnikov machine guns.
The terrorist named “Kazzi Omar” also handed over the “Abu Saif” himself to the military authorities in Baji Mukhtar, in possession of a Kalashnikov machine gun and a quantity of ammunition and other purposes, while 9 support elements were arrested for terrorist groups, during separate operations through national territory.
In the same context, and in the context of fighting organized crime and continuing for the relentless efforts aimed at addressing the scourge of drug trafficking in the country, joint detachments of the National People’s Army, in coordination with various security services, were arrested during operations across the military aspects, 51 drug dealers and thwarted attempts to enter 4 guns, and 7 kilograms of the treated, across the border with Morocco, while 2,52 kilograms of substance were seized Cocaine and 192057 hallucinogenic tablets.
Other detachments of the National People’s Army also arrested, in Tamanrasset, Baji Mukhtar Tower, that Saleh, and that Qazam and Elizi, 306 people seized 33 vehicles, 172 electric generators, 96 pressure hammer, in addition to quantities of gold and stones and equipment used in illegal gold excavations, while 13 other people were arrested and 3 hunting rifles were seized, 16005 liters of fuel, in addition to 16 Tobacco is a Tobacco, and this is during separate operations.
On the other hand, the coast guards thwarted illegal immigration attempts on the national coast and saved 562 people who were on traditional boats, while 718 illegal immigrants of different nationalities were arrested through the national territory.
