The Algerian state is keen to protect the community and enhance its status

The Algerian state reaffirmed its keenness to protect the national community abroad and enhance its contribution to various development projects for the country, by intensifying channels of communication with citizens residing abroad and accompanying them during various occasions, in a way that enhances the values ​​of belonging and consolidates the community’s adherence to their national identity and authentic traditions.

The Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of the national community abroad, Sufyan Shayeb, participated, via remote video lecture technology, in the Ramadan Iftar organized by the consular representations in Paris and its suburbs, and which is designated for students from the national community residing in the five consular districts in the region, according to a statement by the Ministry.

The Secretary of State explained that organizing this activity falls within a series of initiatives directed to benefit the various categories of the national community during the holy month of Ramadan, in a renewed emphasis on the keenness of the Ministry and its foreign interests to intensify channels of communication with citizens residing abroad and to accompany them during various national and religious occasions, in a way that enhances the values ​​of belonging and consolidates the community’s adherence to their national identity and authentic traditions.

This event, which took place in an atmosphere that reflects the spirit of interconnectedness, solidarity and national belonging, also constituted an opportunity to emphasize the care that the Algerian state gives to its citizens residing abroad, and its constant keenness to accompany and care for them, especially student groups, which enjoy a special place within the priorities of the work program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, within the framework of embodying the instructions of the country’s higher authorities aimed at protecting the national community abroad and enhancing its contribution to various development projects for the country.
