Today, Thursday, the Algerian national handball team got to know its competitors in the group stage of the 2026 Africa Cup of Nations finals, following the draw.

The draw resulted in the Algerian team being placed in the first group of the 27th edition of the African Championship, where it will face the teams of Nigeria, the organizing country, Rwanda, in addition to the Zambian team, according to what was reported by the national radio.

It is noteworthy that the 27th edition of the African Nations Handball Championship will be held in Rwanda, during the period from January 21 to January 31 of this month.
