The Algerian Embassy in Qatar published an explanatory statement regarding the suspension of consular services due to the escalation in the Middle East.
The embassy’s statement stated, “Although consular services are suspended in person in implementation of the instructions of the Qatari authorities, and like all embassies in the diplomatic complex, the channels of communication and communication with the consular services of the embassy remain open.” It also confirmed that all the concerns raised are taken care of in a timely manner by the embassy’s staff.
For reference, the Algerian embassy in Doha announced yesterday the suspension of all consular services starting today until further notice, due to the current security conditions in the Middle East.
She explained that the resumption of these services will remain subject to improving conditions and the issuance of new instructions from the competent authorities.
