Conference praised Heads of state and government The African Union, today, Sunday in Addis Ababa, praised Algeria’s pioneering role in continental integration, congratulating the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on the successful hosting of the Intra-African Trade Fair last September.
Algeria’s pioneering role, as confirmed by African leaders in the work of the last day of the 39th African Summit, is evident through the implementation of major projects linking the member states of the African Union, including the Trans-Saharan Road, the Trans-Saharan Fiber Optic Corridor and Trans-Saharan Railway Projects, in full line with the aspirations of the Africa 2063 Agenda.
It is worth noting that Algeria hosted an exhibition commerce Intra-African cooperation during the period between 4 and 10 September 2025 under the slogan “Gateway to new African opportunities” and constitutes an important opportunity to benefit from the opportunities available to Africa in the single market of the Continental Free Trade Area, which would enhance trade and investment in Africa.
