The Iranian National Security Council announced the killing of the Secretary of the Iranian Supreme National Security Council, Ali Larijani, and the commander of the Basij forces, Gholam Reza Soleimani.
In this context, the Commander of the Aerospace Force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Brigadier General Majeed Mousavi, announced the launch of what he described as “an accelerated pace of harsh and effective strikes” against what he called the American-Zionist enemy in the region.
On the other hand, Iran continues to target what it considers American sites and interests within a number of Arab countries.
As for Lebanon, Hezbollah intensified its attacks, launching dozens of rockets towards areas inside Israel. Israeli media reported that a new batch of more than 50 missiles targeted Karmiel and the Upper Galilee region.
These developments come in light of a mutual field escalation, as Iran and Hezbollah carried out simultaneous missile attacks that affected several areas inside Israel, in a scene that reflects the expansion of the confrontation and its escalation in intensity.
