Al-Rahma Restaurants in Ramadan…a humanitarian mission that does not stop

Charitable work flourishes in Algeria during the month of Ramadan, and young people compete with it to take the initiative to volunteer work to distribute Iftar meals to the fasting people and passers-by who have found the time for Iftar, similar to the restaurants of Mercy. They are motivated to do so by their high determination in accordance with Islamic principles and values and a sense of human and national responsibility. Within the framework of embodying the solidarity operation for the holy month of Ramadan, in implementation of the instructions of the governor of the state, aiming to provide iftar restaurants for fasting people and passers-by in coordination with civil society activities and this at the level of all municipalities of the state, the Constantine state departments registered a good number of restaurants licensed at the state level. There were 37 breakfast restaurants for fasting travelers, the needy and others, after they were inspected by the state committee charged with monitoring and following up on breakfast restaurants.
During the first three days of Ramadan, 13,770 iftar meals were distributed to the needy and passersby, including 8,884 hot meals and 4,886 portable meals, which reflects images of solidarity and interdependence among the authentic Algerian people on these occasions.
The competent state committee continues the process of inspecting restaurants and breakfast points licensed at the state municipal level, while monitoring security, hygiene and safety conditions, as well as storage and breakfast preparation conditions.
In the state of Bouira, the governor of the state was transported before breakfast time, on a visit to the Algerian Red Crescent breakfast tent set up on the east-west highway in Jabbahia, where conditions were taken to take care of passers-by, especially providing breakfast meals.
Within the framework of following up on the charitable activities and solidarity initiatives related to the holy month, the governor of the state of Al-Mughair, accompanied by members of the Algerian Red Crescent and those in charge of the restaurant, attended the preparations for the Ramadan table, at the headquarters adjacent to National Road No. 3 at the level of the municipality of Al-Mughir, which was organized by the Algerian Red Crescent in coordination with the Directorate of… social activity.
The governor of the state blessed this interest in doing good and feeding those who are fasting in this holy month, especially those using National Road No. 3. He also expressed his admiration for the commitment of most of the charitable restaurants across the state’s territory, to extend his thanks to all the volunteers responsible for making Iftar tables for fasting people a success, urging them to continue their solidarity work that It is considered one of the characteristics of the people of Algeria in general and Al-Mughir in particular.
In this context, members of the National Observatory for Civil Society participated in the breakfast organized by the Algerian Islamic Scouts for its fourth day for passers-by, at the level of the public station for transporting passengers in the state of Sidi Bel Abbes Soukral, under the supervision of the state governor of the Algerian Islamic Scouts, Habib Bouras, accompanied by the station director, Qwaider Amara, and as a result of this day, 169 meals were provided in addition to 15 portable meals for the benefit of passers-by, and the process is still continuing throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
Over the course of the week, with the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, the governor of the state of Relizane inspected several Al-Rahma restaurants located across the various municipalities of the state. He visited these restaurants in all the municipalities of Relizane, where he decided on the best conditions for taking care of fasting people passing by, as well as respecting health and hygiene conditions.
As part of the solidarity operation for the holy month of Ramadan, during the past week in the state of Tipaza, more than 2,600 baskets loaded with various basic food items were distributed to various municipalities, which in turn distributed them to families and social groups in need.
In continuation of the same process, the Governor of the state of Souk Ahras supervised the launch of a solidarity convoy containing 1,500 food parcels directed to the benefit of needy families in the municipalities of the state. The governor greeted all the contributors to this solidarity operation that reflects the values of interdependence and solidarity rooted in our society.
In the context of establishing the principle of solidarity with nomadic families during the holy month, the state of Bordj Badji Mokhtar continued distributing aid for the holy month of Ramadan provided by the Algerian Red Crescent to the nomadic citizens of the state in the In Fertan region and its environs. The aid consisted of food parcels and medicines. And mattresses.
