A final freeze on training before integration into the education sector – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

The Minister of National Education, Mohamed Al-Saghir Saadawi, announced today, Saturday, the permanent freeze on the “pre-integration training” system, until it is completely abolished by amending the basic law regulating the sector.
This announcement came during a meeting between the minister and the sector’s unions, where he stressed that the ministry would not allow teachers to be exhausted or create a state of tension within the educational community.
Stressing that the decisions taken will be in the direction of ensuring the comfort of professors and responding to their concerns, most important of which is the requirement to cancel training before integration.
The Minister explained that the Ministry’s interests closely followed developments in the training process, in addition to the demands of professors.
Stressing that this file will not be left to turn into a source of pressure within educational institutions, with an emphasis on addressing this problem once and for all in a way that ensures stability and reassurance within the sector.
Saadawi pointed out that the decision comes in response to the demands of a group of professors who want specialized training.
He explained that the procedure applies to professors who were concerned with training during a period ranging between four and seven years.
The Minister stressed that integration is a right guaranteed to professors, noting that the decision requires freezing training and heading directly to the hearings.
To discuss the best formulas to guarantee the rights of those concerned,
Pointing out that the training was primarily an opportunity to empower those concerned with integration and enhance their professional knowledge.
