The Confederation of African Football (CAF) issued a statement, regarding some… Actions Which was witnessed in the final match of the 2025 African Cup, between Senegal and the Moroccan national team, which witnessed unacceptable behavior and widespread arbitration controversy.
The Senegal national team was crowned champion of the Morocco 2025 edition, at the expense of the organizing country’s national team, with a goal by player Bab Guy Al-Jakil in extra time.
The CAF statement said: “The Federation condemns African “For football, the unacceptable behavior of some players and officials during the final of the Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025, which was held between Morocco and Senegal in Rabat last night.”
The Confederation of African Football added in its statement: “The Confederation of African Football strongly condemns any inappropriate behavior that occurs during matches, especially those targeting the refereeing team or match organizers.”
He confirmed African Union Football finally reviews all the footage and will refer the matter to the competent authorities to take appropriate measures against those convicted.
