After his arrest at the airport… the judiciary decides the Mokoena case – New Algeria

Today, Monday, the Casablanca Court in the capital issued its ruling in the case involving the former coach of the Mouloudia Club of Algiers, the South African Rulani Mokoena, who is accused of withdrawing hard currency from the national territory without declaring it, after his arrest two days ago at the Houari Boumediene International Airport.

The court ruled to impose a two-month sentence of ineffective imprisonment on Mokoena, along with the confiscation of the undeclared amount of money, estimated at 14,200 euros, in addition to fining him an amount of five million centimes.

In a related context, Chabab Belouizdad attacker, Lotfi Bousouar, appeared before the same court, against the backdrop of a case related to insulting an employee while performing his duties, following an incident that occurred yesterday at Houari Boumediene International Airport.

The details of the case go back to the moment the Belouizdad youth delegation arrived from Egypt, where a dispute broke out between the player and a female border policewoman. According to available data, Bouswar asked the policewoman to allow the team’s coach, Sayed Ramovich, to pass to the passport stamping office, even though the policewoman had not yet begun her work.

When I explained this to him, the player responded in a way that was considered inappropriate, which led to his arrest and the opening of an investigation into the incident before he was brought to justice.
