The Minister of the Interior: The National Security Corps is receiving special attention – New Algeria

The Minister of Interior, Local Communities and Urban Planning, Ibrahim Murad, confirmed today, Thursday, that the national security corps receives special attention from the party Public authoritiesLooking at the nature of the sensitive tasks assigned to it.

In a public session in the National People’s Assembly, it was devoted to asking oral questions to a number of members of the government, the minister explained that the National Security Corps “is receiving special attention from the public authorities, given the nature of sensitive tasks assigned to him and the great work and the great sacrifices made by the affiliates to him.”

In his response to a preoccupation with the promotion of police agents who obtained higher degrees after joining the security corps, Mr. Murad pointed out that “the police agents are subject to the provisions of Order No. 06-03, which includes the general statute of the public job, which guarantees the right to upgrade to each employee who meets the required legal conditions and employees who belong to this sensitive apparatus.”

And after he went on to explain that the employees of this security corps are also governed by special measures, given the nature of the tasks assigned to them, as “the basic law for employees belonging to the private wires of national security did not explicitly stipulate in its provisions on this pattern of promotion (promotion on the basis of certificate)”, Mr. Murad stated that “the relentless efforts made by the General Directorate of National Security to obtain an exceptional license, It allowed a significant number of police employees who during their career obtained university degrees, to upgrade to a higher ranks that are compatible and their university college level within the limits of the available positions.

In the same context, the minister stressed that “the current legal framework has devoted new principles, which would open the door for promotion to higher ranks on the basis of professional testing or on the basis of choice with the possibility of gradual ranks, contrary to what was previously used.”

On the other hand, Murad touched on the issue of equality in functional privileges between automated media engineers delegated from the Directorate of Local Administration and those who are drawn in the municipalities, where he explained that the employees of the technical corps who were employed on the responsibility of local budgets benefit from the same compensatory system for common wire Technical category at the municipal level, as the first basic rule in the pyramid of digital transformation.

In this regard, he pointed out that his sector recorded “more than 3500 engineers in various ranks”.

On the other hand, in order to ensure the exploitation of human capabilities rationally, “the interests of the Ministry of Interior are developing an information system to help carefully and immediately monitor all local users, including employees at the level of educational structures, which enables the optimal exploitation of the surplus at the level of some structures,” as the minister stated.

As for the conversion of the shops carried out within the framework of the youth operating device from the private property of the state to the municipal properties, Mr. Murad stated that “the municipalities will work to rehabilitate some deteriorating stores and re -exploit them in an effective way, as the properties that generate income, by making them a strategic tool to enhance the financial resources of the municipalities.”
