The Prime Minister supervises the ceremony honoring the winners of the Algeria Award for Memorization of the Holy Qur’an – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

On Monday evening, Prime Minister Seifi Gharib oversaw the ceremony honoring the winners of the Algeria Prize for Memorizing the Holy Qur’an and Reviving Islamic Heritage, during a religious ceremony hosted by the Algiers Mosque in Mohammedia, coinciding with the celebration of the blessed Night of Destiny.

The honor included the winners of the national competition for memorizing, reciting, and interpreting the Holy Qur’an, as well as the winners of the encouragement competition directed at young memorizers, where the winners received certificates of appreciation signed by the President of the Republic, in appreciation of their efforts and to motivate them to continue their journey in serving the Book of God.

In the category of young memorizers, the first place went to the child Ayman Kadil from the province of Algiers, followed by Asid Dilmi from the province of Constantine in second place, while Muhammad Anis Ben Fatima from the province of Ain Temouchent came in third.

As for the national competition for memorizing, reciting and interpreting the Holy Qur’an, Samira Mehdab from Jijel Province won first place, Omar Zidani from Mostaganem Province came in second place, while Abdelaziz Karboua from Ouled Jalal Province came in third place.

During the ceremony, the members of the jury were also honored, in appreciation of their efforts in framing the competition and supervising its various stages. They are: Dr. Abdullah Owaisi, Dr. Abdel Karim Hamadoush, Professor Farid Oushia, Dr. Nabil Daghfali, Professor Abdel Karim Allali, and Professor Samia Ayyad.

The organization of this ceremony comes within the framework of the interest that the Algerian state gives to the Holy Qur’an and its people, and its endeavor to consolidate religious values ​​and strengthen the connection of the emerging generations with the Book of God.
