In anticipation of this date, Khattall confirmed that the ministry “recruited all necessary means, such as technical pedagogical means and branches open at the level of training institutions, in addition to the specializations present in the pedagogical program for vocational training.”

In the same context, new specializations were included in training programs in some states, such as data analysis, installation and maintenance of solar panels, and electronic commerce, recalling that the national reference for training and competencies includes several specializations, noting that this reference came to replace the national code for the sector, which included more than 400 specializations in 23 professional divisions.

Through the training offers it provides, the sector focuses on professional people in “priority” sectors, such as agriculture and industry, digitization, construction and public works, tourism and hospitality, water and the environment, as well as renewable energies, adds the director of studies at the ministry, recalling that a number of measures and actions have been taken aimed at “ensuring training in specializations that are in line with the requirements of the world of work and in accordance with the needs expressed by economic institutions in terms of qualified labor.”

Regarding pedagogical structures, the same speaker reported that the sector counts more than 1,100 training institutions distributed across various states, including specialized national institutes and vocational training centers, in addition to 18 centers of excellence that were established in partnership with economic operators in technical and industrial fields, in line with current needs.

In addition, 180 entrepreneurship development centers have been established for the purpose of accompanying trainees during their training course in this field.
