Fiat Fudaw World Championship: The national team achieves runner-up status with 24 medals – Algerian Dialogue

The Algerian team of Fofinam Fiat Vodaw won runner-up at the conclusion of the eighth edition of the World Specialty Championship in Bali, Indonesia (November 4-7), after winning 24 medals, including nine golds, according to what was learned today, Saturday, from the Algerian Federation of Fofinam Fiat Vodau.

The head of the federal body, Mohamed Jouag, explained in a statement to “Waj” that despite the difficulty of the fights, the Algerian team was able to achieve “a historic achievement, by achieving second place in the world, with a score of 9 gold, 10 silver and five bronze, while Vietnam was crowned with the world title with 24 gold and one silver, while Cambodia came in ranked.”
Third with seven gold, 11 silver and five silver.

Jouaj commented on these results, saying: “I am proud of what the Algerian athletes presented at the World Cup in Bali, Indonesia. Our champions have proven that Algeria is capable of competing with the strongest international schools in martial arts. This coronation reflects the fruit of long work that began several years ago in various regional centers.”

Thirty-six countries from different continents participated in the Fiat Vodaw World Championship, amidst intense competition and high-level technologies.

It is noteworthy that the number of African countries participating in the World Cup in Bali has officially reached 25 countries.
