An emergency program for the supply of potable water for the benefit of the Algerian state of Biskra – Al-Houwar

Follow-up to the decisions that emerged during the field visit of the Minister of Irrigation that he led to the state of Biskra on April 17 and 18, 2023. Today, Sunday, Taha Derbal, the Minister of Irrigation, chaired a working meeting in the presence of each of Lakhdar Sadas, the governor of the state of Biskra, with each of the central directors of the ministry, the general directors of the institutions affiliated with the ministry and the director State water resources.

Where the meeting dealt with presenting the necessary needs in the field of supplying potable water and sanitation, in addition to agricultural irrigation, which were proposed by the state authorities. Where this meeting led to adjusting the proposal of an emergency program for the benefit of the state according to priority, which will be proposed to the government for registration, with the aim of improving the process of supplying potable water in municipalities that witness a shortage of this vital substance, in addition to setting projects to eliminate black points in the sewage network as an urgent process.
