The attention of world football fans is heading to the upcoming UEFA Champions League final, where Inter Milan collides with the aspirations of Paris Saint -Germain, in a fiery confrontation that brings history with ambition.
Inter Milan is entering the final match for the seventh time in its history, after he settled his last confrontation with a total score (7-6), and this final is a golden opportunity to enhance his European record, as he previously crowned three titles (1964, 1965, 2010). In the current version, “Nerazzurri” achieved 10 wins, which is the highest number in one season in the history of his European participation, lost only once in the last 14 games, and was not defeated in the last 8 confrontations (6 wins, two draws).
On the other hand, Paris Saint -Germain is seeking to write history and crown its first title in the championship. The French team has become the third club from his country to reach the final more than once, after Rims (1956, 1959) and Marseille (1991, 1993). Saint -Germain achieved 9 wins from the last 11 games in the Champions League, and scored the goal of progress in 7 of the last 9 games in all competitions, reflecting his tactical maturity and offensive power.
According to the championship regulations, it will resort to two additional runs, then the penalty shootout in the event of a tie. The meeting is run by Roman referee Istvan Kovac, and the English winner Tottenham will meet in the European Super Cup.
