President Tebboune supervises the commemoration of the World Press Freedom Day – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazairia

Today, Wednesday, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, supervised, at the Abdellatif Rahal International Conference Center, in Algiers, the commemoration of the World Press Freedom Day, which falls on the third of May of each year.
This ceremony took place in the presence of high officials in the state and members of the government, as well as representatives of the national and international press accredited in Algeria.

On the occasion, the Minister of Communication, Mohamed Bouslimani, delivered a speech in which he praised the various reforms taking place in the communication sector and the efforts made by the state to advance the sector.

He also reaffirmed Algeria’s support for the struggles of all free journalists and free people in the world.
