President Tebboune: Dialogue and multilateral action enhance the interests of gas exporting countries – Algerian Dialogue

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, stressed the importance of “dialogue and multilateral action in the Gas Exporting Countries Forum.”
The President of the Republic said, at the opening of the seventh summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum, in Algeria today, Saturday, that “today’s challenges require strengthening dialogue and multilateral action that leads to achieving the goals that were set when the forum was established.”
In his speech at the Palace of Conferences, President Tebboune stressed that “the Gas Exporting Countries Forum is a platform for cooperation, and as we are all supporters of this trend, our keenness for dialogue increases to contribute to strengthening our interests.”
President Tebboune indicated that the seventh summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum is an opportunity to deepen cooperation through exchanging views, experiences and expertise, and establishing strategic dialogue with various actors in the gas markets.
The President of the Republic considered that the seventh summit of heads of state and government of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum is an opportunity to draw up a common vision to preserve the interests of producers and consumers.
President Tebboune highlighted that natural gas plays “an essential role in achieving sustainable development and meeting the growing global needs for energy.”
