Algerian ministers emphasize innovation and digitalization to enhance public administration and services – Algerian newspaper Al-Hiwar

Today, Monday in Algiers, the Ministers of the Interior, Higher Education and Health stressed the importance of innovation and digital transformation in public facilities as an essential lever for building modern administration, improving the quality of services and enhancing citizen confidence.

During participation in the work of the National Forum “Innovation and digital transformation in the service of the public utility: towards a national program for excellence in the provision of public services,” organized by the Republic’s Mediator Authority and under the high patronage of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune,

Saeed Saeed, Minister of the Interior, pointed out that digitization has become the basis for effective and transparent management that supports local development, with a focus on data protection and the comprehensiveness of digital services.

Kamal Badari, Minister of Higher Education, stressed that digital transformation constitutes the cornerstone of developing universities and creating digital competencies and artificial intelligence.

Mohamed Siddiq Ait Messaoudane, Minister of Health, also stressed the importance of digitization in the health sector, through disseminating the electronic medical file, linking health institutions with optical fibers, and accelerating the provision of services with high efficiency.

The ministers stressed that innovation and digital transformation constitute the basis for achieving administrative excellence and enhancing citizens’ confidence in public institutions.
