The Organization of Islamic Cooperation condemns the occupation’s demolition of UNRWA facilities – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

Today, Wednesday, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation condemned the demolition by the Zionist occupation forces of facilities belonging to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in occupied Jerusalem, considering this a dangerous escalation and a flagrant violation of international law, the United Nations Charter and its resolutions.

The organization explained, in a statement carried by the Palestinian News Agency (Wafa), that the occupation’s targeting of UNRWA’s headquarters comes within the framework of its illegal attempts to liquidate the Palestinian refugee issue.

By undermining the agency’s existence and vital role, which represents a testament to the international community’s commitment to the rights of refugees in accordance with UN resolutions.
