Boughali stresses strengthening economic cooperation between Algeria and Russia – New Algeria

Boughali pointed out that the Algerian -Russian relations are strong and striking in history, as the Soviet Union was one of the first supporters of the Algerian issue before independence, noting that the recent visit by the President of the Republic, Abdul Majeed Taboun, to Moscow, has granted a new payment to the strategic relations between the two countries.

By the way, the Speaker of the Council stressed the importance of enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries and leaving the scope of energy exchange only, calling for the activation of broader partnerships that include the fields of industry, agriculture, and scientific and technical exchange.

In a related context, Boughali affirmed the force of parliamentary cooperation between Algeria and Russia, praising the relations that bring together the National People’s Assembly and the Russian Duma, and expressed his thanks to the President of the Duma for the invitation to visit Russia, and also welcomed all Russian parliamentary delegations wishing to visit Algeria.

The President of the Council added that the success of the African -African Trade Exhibition, which was recently hosted by Algeria, could constitute a model for activating trade cooperation between Algeria and Russia, especially in light of the similarity of the two countries’ visions on fair international issues, in this context, in this context, Russia’s position in the Security Council on the desert issue.

For his part, the Russian ambassador expressed his country’s strong desire to consolidate bilateral relations between Algeria and Russia, noting that the two countries are united by close cooperation in the political, economic and military fields, and that Algeria is an important strategic partner for Russia.

The ambassador also stressed the necessity of deepening parliamentary cooperation between the two countries, highlighting that the Algerian -Russian partnership is characterized by its widespread horizons and depth, and stressing that there is no limits to the development and prosperity of these relations.
