In a related context, the speaker explained that “the military institution has become dependent on accumulated technical experience in confronting and coping with shocks, especially since the enemy today is known regardless of the type of crime he commits, whether it is an organized crime or an attempt to flood the country with large quantities of drugs.” What is required today, according to the speaker, is “securing the borders and the land space because it is very difficult to transport these dangerous materials through the airspace, and of course securing the borders is a strategic collective responsibility and does not only mean the army, border guards, and customs.” Even citizens are concerned about it, as the focus must be on national awareness to combat this dangerous scourge.”
