A public session in the National Assembly to discuss the citizenship law – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

Tomorrow, Tuesday, the National Assembly will hold a public session at its headquarters dedicated to presenting and discussing a draft law amending and completing Order No. 70-86 of December 15, 1970, relating to the Nationality Law.

It is expected that the session will begin at nine in the morning, with the presentation of the draft law by the government representative.

Followed by the submission of the preliminary report to the Committee on Legal and Administrative Affairs, Human Rights, Local Organization, Territory Development and Territorial Division,

Before opening the door for council members’ interventions.

The session will resume at two o’clock after noon, with the members continuing to listen to interventions.

The meeting will conclude with the government representative’s response to the various interventions.
