In pictures: Salon activities for international brands manufactured in Algeria – New Algeria

Today, Friday, the Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Professor Kamal Razik, along with the Minister of Internal Trade and National Market Control, Amal Abdel Latif, supervised the official opening of the Made in DZ Salon of International Brands in Algeria, organized under the organization by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion.
According to the ministry’s statement, the ministers visited various exhibition pavilions, where they viewed models of products with international brands that are manufactured locally, and examined the capabilities of national institutions in the field of production in accordance with international standards, as well as successful experiences in localizing international brands in Algeria.
By the way, the ministers attended a special product presentation, during which the type and quality of clothing and products manufactured in Algeria were highlighted, which reflects the actual ability of the sector to meet international standards and enhance the competitiveness of the national product locally and internationally under the label “Made in Algeria.”
Within the framework of supporting productive investment and the localization of brands, the ministers supervised the signing of three strategic agreements, namely: an agreement with the Algerian Olympic Committee, TIAL Company, and FINAC Company of former international player Karim Matmour, related to equipping Olympic teams.
In parallel, an agreement was signed to localize the international brand Jumeau with Tial Company, enhancing national production and exporting its products to international markets.
The organization of this salon comes within the framework of embodying the national strategy aimed at localizing international brands and enhancing national production capabilities, allowing these products to be marketed in the national market and promoting exports to foreign markets, especially African ones.
This important economic event also constitutes a professional space for exchanging experiences, highlighting the industrial qualifications that Algeria abounds, and the investment opportunities available in the field of manufacturing, textile and leather industries, which contributes to creating added value and enhancing the competitiveness of the national product.
The Made in DZ Salon reflects the public will to support productive investment, promote exports outside of hydrocarbons, and consolidate Algeria’s position as a regional platform for production and export.
For reference, the representative of the Minister of Industry and the representative of the Minister of Sports attended the salon, in the presence of the Director General of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency and the Director General of Customs.
