The Ministry of Justice launches training programs for judges and employees – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Justice announced the launch of a series of intensive training courses for the benefit of judges and sector employees, during the period from 1 to 5 February 2026, in cooperation with national and international bodies, with the aim of enhancing capabilities and keeping pace with legislative and regulatory developments.

Courses for judges

Higher Judicial School: 25 judges from the investigation, prosecution, and criminal departments participate in a course on “Combat Corruption.”

Euro-Mediterranean Program “Justice 6”: Two judges participate in the seventh meeting of EMJNet in the Netherlands to discuss legal challenges and exchange best practices.

Counter-Terrorism CT-INFLOW2: Three judges will participate in a telesymposium on “Research and Science 2” within the EMISA network to promote international cooperation.

International Law Singapore: Participation as a judge in a program on international legal trends and challenges and arbitration, with a focus on health, environmental, investment and artificial intelligence laws.

Training and supporting women judges
25 female judges will participate in a training course for trainers on “Coaching,” energized by experts from The Hague Academy, within the framework of the Ministry’s cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme.

Programs for police officers
Two courses for 50 employees on “Conduct of the Penal Appeal File” and “The Secretariat for Controlling the Implementation of Penal Codes,” to enhance their skills in managing judicial files and coordinating between departments.

At the conclusion of its statement, the Ministry affirmed that these training programs reflect its commitment to developing judicial performance and keeping pace with legislative and technological developments.
