Strict instructions to ensure drinking water for citizens

The Minister of Irrigation, Taha Derbal, instructed and directed the ministry’s tires and local interests in the states of the country to ensure concerns presented by the deputies, especially those related to the irrigation sector.
During his reception of a group of deputies of the National People’s Assembly for the mandate of a camp, in the context of the continuation of the series of meetings that belong to the members of Parliament in its two chambers, in the presence of the ministry’s tires at the central and local levels, the deputies offered a number of concerns that express the interests and concerns of the residents of the camp of the camp, especially those related to the irrigation sector, and in particular the provision of drinking water and the public service for disinfection.
In his response to these concerns, the minister provided adequate explanations on the various measures and measures taken by the sector to improve the status of water supply at the state level, as well as instructions and directives for the ministry’s tires and local interests, to ensure the preoccupations presented by the deputies.

In the context of continuous follow -up to the situation of providing the state’s population with drinking water, especially the seawater desalination system as a sustainable strategic option, the governor moved to a fertile area in the municipality of Massib, to stand in the field on the position of the SP04 desalinated water pumping station, one of the main stations within the water distribution system from the desalination plant.
This visit took place in the presence of the Director of Water Resources, the head of the Algerian Water Center, a camp, and technical tires from the sector, where the governor received a detailed technical show on the capabilities of this station, its pivotal role in distributing water through the state network, and the challenges related to its management, whether in terms of operational energy or periodic maintenance.
In this context, the governor stressed the need to raise the effectiveness of the technical and management performance of the station, highlighting that ensuring the continuity of providing citizens with drinking water is a top priority, especially during the summer that witnesses the peak of consumption.
During this inspection, the governor gave strict instructions to ensure the preparedness of equipment, improve working conditions, and activate the technical maintenance system around the clock, to ensure the immediate response to any emergency, and to avoid interruptions or disturbances in the distribution.
