The Speaker of the National Assembly, Azouz Nasseri, stressed that all Algerians agree that sovereignty is the hidden secret and the precious essence for preserving Algeria’s stability, denouncing the shows that an outlaw faction has resorted to against the country.
On Sunday, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Azouz Nasseri, chaired an expanded meeting of the Council’s office, of the heads of parliamentary groups and the parliamentary observer, devoted to considering the work calendar of the National Assembly during the period between December 17 and 25, 2025, in addition to studying the status of the oral and written questions deposited with the office, as well as the progress of the digitization file in the National Assembly.
The Council’s office reiterated that the unity of the nation and the strength of the connection between the members of the Algerian nation and their cohesion are a source of strength to repel losses and gain perfection, and are the source of general protection, which prevents the souls of members of the nation from committing treason and committing worldly crimes, while harming Algeria.
The office denounced the parades carried out by an outlaw group, dreamers lost between a hurricane of illusions and currents of fantasy obsessions, stressing that all Algerian men and women are in agreement that sovereignty is the hidden secret, the precious essence, and the elixir that is burdened by those who do not deserve it, just as was the practice of their fathers and their fathers’ fathers who defended the honor of the nation, strengthened its immunity, preserved its unity and stability, and made great efforts. The goal is for Algeria to live.
Regarding the agenda, the Council’s office decided to resume public sessions, starting on the morning of Wednesday, December 17, to present and discuss the draft law amending and supplementing Law No. 84-09 of Jumada al-Awwal 2, 1404 corresponding to February 4, 1984, relating to the regional organization of the country, while the government representative, the Minister of the Interior, Local Communities and Transport, will, after the afternoon of the same day, respond to the interventions and concerns of the Council members, provided that the draft law is presented to a vote in a session. It will generally be held after noon on Thursday, December 25, 2025.
