The complex explained, in a statement, that during this meeting, the… Budget The corporation’s annual plan for the year 2025, in addition to adopting the medium-term development plan for the period 2025-2029, which relates to the value chain, including intensifying exploration and production efforts to enhance hydrocarbon reserves.
And developing the pipeline transportation network, as the plan includes Programs Ambitious in the fields of conversion, refining and petrochemistry, to cover the national market, in addition to increasing the company’s export capabilities of fuels and derivative products.
The plan also included development projects related to digitization and energy transformation, as Sonatrach renewed its commitment to sustainability by launching projects to reduce the carbon footprint, with a focus on developing renewable energy projects and adhering to international environmental standards, thus consolidating its position as a pioneering company in the energy transformation at the local and international levels.
The Minister of Finance, Aziz Fayed, and the Governor of the Bank of Algeria, Salah Eddine Taleb, participated in the meeting, along with Fawzi Amqrane, representing the Presidency of the Republic, in their capacity as members of the General Assembly. Members of the Board of Directors of “Sonatrach” also attended the work of this assembly.
