The Meteorological Department revealed the weather forecast for tomorrow, Sunday, as rainy weather is expected to be recorded in a number of western states, with snow falling in the western highlands.
The same authorities reported that the northern regions will witness sunny weather in the center and east, while the weather will range from sunny to rainy in the western regions, with snowfall at highlands above 1,200 metres.
The rain will include the states of Saida, Sidi Bel Abbes, Tlemcen, El Bayadh, Naama and Bechar.
Temperatures will range between 16 and 19 degrees in coastal areas, and between 6 and 17 degrees in inland areas, while wind speeds will reach 30 km/h.
A severe cold wave is also expected to be recorded in the states of Naama, El Bayadh, Laghouat, Batna, Khenchela and Tebessa.
Regarding the southern regions, the weather will be from sunny to cloudy, with snow falling on the peaks of Mount Antar during the day, where temperatures will range between 13 and 30 degrees, while wind speeds may reach 40 km/h.
