Signing of a cooperation agreement between the Diplomatic Institute for International Relations and the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Algerian Dialogue

The agreement was signed by the Director General of the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Hussein Zaoui, and the Director General of the Diplomatic Institute for International Relations, Fatima Rmeili, under the supervision of the Minister of Trade and Export Promotion, Tayeb Zitouni, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, on the sidelines of a forum on “The Role of Businessmen Councils in Activating Economic Diplomacy,” organized by the Ministry of Commerce in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Mr. Attaf praised the agreement, describing it as “an important step towards enhancing coordination and improving our collective performance in service of our one and unified goal, which is the growth and prosperity of our national economy.”

Mr. Zitouni explained that the agreement aims to “develop the knowledge of economic agents in the fields of foreign policy, and to qualify them according to the standards on which economic diplomacy is built.”

The forum was opened under the supervision of Mr. Zitouni and Mr. Attaf, in the presence of the Director General of Customs, Major General Abdel Hafeez Bakhoush, the President of the Supreme Council for Youth, Mustafa Haidawi, the President of the National Observatory for Civil Society, Noureddine Ben Braham, and the President of the National Economic, Social and Environmental Council, Rabia Kharfi.
