“Sidal” signs a memorandum of understanding with “Sanofi” to develop and produce human vaccines – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

On Thursday, the Saidal Complex signed a memorandum of understanding with Sanofi – Vaccines Branch, with the aim of developing and producing a group of vaccines intended for human use.

The complex’s statement explained that this agreement represents a strategic step that would enhance national capabilities in the field of the pharmaceutical industry, especially with regard to the localization of vaccine production.

The signing ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Pharmaceutical Industry under the supervision of Minister Wassim Koueidari, in the presence of the Director General of the Saidal Complex, Belkhalfa Mourad, and the Director of the Vaccines Branch of Sanofi, Jean-Philippe Proust.

This agreement comes within the framework of supporting industrial partnerships and technology transfer, which contributes to strengthening national health security and ensuring the availability of vaccines for the benefit of citizens.
