
The Acting Prime Minister, Saifi Gharib, supervised today, Friday, the opening of the African Expatriate Day in the world, at the International Conference Center, Abdul Latif Rahal, on the sidelines of the fourth edition of the African Bilateral Trade Exhibition “IAF 2025” organized in Algiers.
In a speech delivered by the way, a strange sword conveyed the greetings of the President of the Republic, Abdul Majeed Taboun, to the participants, stressing that this meeting “enhances the bonds of ties between African societies” and embodies a space appropriate to meet African communities and exchange experiences between them.
The Prime Minister stressed that Algeria attaches great importance to its communities abroad, noting that the sponsorship of expatriates is part of the state’s vision to enhance its African and international position.
Gharib also renewed Algeria’s support for the role of the African Union, stressing its full readiness to host a special conference in Africa next December.
She did not miss the opportunity to send a special greeting to the descendants of the Algerian exiles in the remote lands, stressing that Algeria valued the sacrifices of their ancestors and remains faithful to its historical memory.
