I applied Algeria By requesting that a closed consultation session be held at the UN Security Council next Tuesday evening regarding mass gravesGaza stripwhich has witnessed continuous Israeli aggression for more than six months, as was learned today, Saturday.
Palestinian media sources reported last week that rescue and ambulance crews were found in the courtyards of the “HealingAnd Nasser Medical Center in the Gaza Strip, mass graves containing bodies Palestinian martyrsleft behind by the Israeli occupation forces after they left those sites.
In this context, the Secretary-General of the United Nations expressed, António GuterresHe expressed his deep concern about the reports of the discovery of these mass graves and called for the necessity of allowing independent international investigators to access these sites.
He stressed that it is necessary to allow independent international investigators, with expertise in forensic science, immediate access to the sites of these mass graves, to determine the exact circumstances in which hundreds of Palestinians lost their lives and were buried or reburied.
It is noteworthy that more than 392 bodies of Palestinian martyrs were recovered from a mass grave in the Nasser Medical Complex, over the course of five days, after the Zionist occupation army withdrew from the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

Since October 7, 2023, the Zionist occupation has continued its devastating aggression against the Gaza Strip, leaving more than 34,000 martyrs, more than 77,000 injured, and an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe, causing the displacement of more than 85 percent of the Strip’s population, which is equivalent to 1.9 million people. While the American veto continues to reject all proposals put forward by members of the Security Council to provide justice to the Palestinian people.
