Securing cash flow at post offices during Ramadan

The Director General of the Algeria Postal Corporation, Bachiri Shiraz, stressed the need to ensure the continuity and smooth flow of service during the holy month of Ramadan, and to secure cash flow in post offices and automatic windows, while raising the level of readiness during peak periods.

During her personal observation of the extraordinary opening of post offices on Friday, Bachiri inspected a number of post offices in the state of Oran, where she was closely informed of the working conditions and the level of customer care. She also visited the Belqaid Post Office, where she examined its condition following concerns expressed by some citizens. She took the initiative to listen to them directly and addressed the various problems raised. On the occasion, she provided official directives stressing the need to pay utmost attention to the quality of reception. Respect customers and deal with them with dignity and professionalism in all circumstances, while ensuring comfortable reception conditions that consolidate the image of a public facility close to the citizen.

The Director General supervised a regional meeting that included the frameworks of the postal units in the western region, which was devoted to exchanging visions on developing performance, supporting the path of digital transformation, and enhancing the effectiveness of the postal network, especially in urban areas and economic poles with high density. She also stressed during the meeting the necessity of ensuring the continuity and smooth flow of service during the holy month of Ramadan, and securing cash liquidity in postal offices and automatic windows, while raising the level of readiness during peak periods.

On this occasion, Bashiri appreciated the commitment and dedication of the male and female workers, especially their mobilization to make the exceptional opening decision a success, which reflects the spirit of professional responsibility and establishes a culture of effective public service close to the citizen.

At the conclusion of the visit, the Director-General stressed that entering the institution into a new chapter is not just a slogan, but rather a deliberate course of action embodied in the field, and aims to consolidate citizens’ confidence in state institutions through a comprehensive, modern and innovative public service.
