The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamal Badari, confirmed today, Monday, that research business incubators have succeeded in attracting investments worth 2.8 billion dinars, an indication of the growing interest in scientific research as a major driver of innovation and economic development.
These statements came during the Minister’s supervision of the work of the national symposium for institutions of a scientific and technological nature, in the presence of representatives of the Ministry of National Defense and several ministerial sectors.
The Minister explained that research institutions have been integrated into economic and productive projects, with the number of implementation partnerships reaching 80 partnerships based on innovative projects.
539 research results were also followed up and registered in the National Appraisal Register, including 127 technical and service products derived from these results, in addition to strengthening cooperation with the economic sector through the establishment of 77 permanent mixed research teams, to support the link between scientific research and economic application.
