Walid Sadi, Algerian Minister of Sports and President of the Algerian Football Federation, offered his condolences to Madjid Bougherra, following the death of his father.
The Algerian Football Federation published, on Tuesday, Condolence textwhich stated, “With great sadness and sorrow, the President of the Algerian Football Federation, Mr. Walid Sadi, received the news of the death of Madjid Bougherra’s father.”
“On this painful occasion, the President of the Federation, in his own name and on behalf of all members of the Federal Bureau, extends his deepest condolences and sincere expressions of sympathy to Madjid Bougherra and all the family of the deceased, hoping that the Almighty God will cover him with his vast mercy, dwell him in His spacious gardens, and inspire his family and relatives with patience and solace. We belong to God and to Him we shall return.”
Majeed currently holds the position Lebanon national team coach Football, after he was an Algerian international player. He also supervised the training of the Algeria reserve team, in two periods, one of which led them to win the “FIFA Arab Cup Championship” title, in the year 2021 in Qatar.
