Representing the President of the Republic…the Prime Minister honors an elite group of Algerian women – New Algeria

In his capacity as a representative of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Prime Minister Sifi Gharib supervised, on Sunday evening, a honoring ceremony organized in honor of a number of Algerian women who were distinguished by their outstanding contributions in various fields, on the occasion of the commemoration of International Women’s Day..

This ceremony took place under the slogan “Algerian Women: Excellence and Leadership,” under the high patronage of the President of the Republic, in the presence of the Minister of National Solidarity, Family, and Women’s Issues, Soria Moulouji, along with a number of members of the government and senior state officials, as well as the presence of female fighters and representatives of associations and organizations active in the field of women and the family, in addition to prominent figures from the artistic and sports scene.

During this occasion, a group of creative and distinguished Algerian women were honored in multiple fields, including the scientific, legal, artistic, media and sports fields, in addition to traditional crafts, in appreciation of the qualitative contributions they made to serving society and enhancing the status of Algerian women.

This honor also embodies inspiring models of feminist success, allowing rising generations to be inspired by the experiences of Algerian women who have contributed effectively in various areas of public life.

The ceremony honored my friend Karima, a brigadier general at the Ministry of National Defence, and Qabsi Rashida, a brigadier inspector at the General Directorate of Customs. In the legal field, the lawyer and daughter of the martyr, Bin Braham, Fatima Al-Zahra, was honored.

On the same occasion, the activist in the field of biological agriculture and the appreciation of medicinal plants, Sinawi Nawal, and the writer and literary figure, Maamria Zubaida, were honored, as well as the medical microbiologist and hospital professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy, and the director of the Bacteria Department at the Pasteur Institute, Hassiba Thali Maamer, and the media honored the journalist on Algerian television, Hafidah Razik.

In the field of mines, the mining engineer responsible for the blasting operations to flatten the railway platform within the Gara Jbeilat project, Sabrina Kashir, was honored, along with the craftswoman specialized in the manufacture of Babar carpets, and recipient of national and international awards, Sadiqa Ammari.

In support of women’s sports, during this ceremony, the nationally and internationally crowned long jump champion, Hamri Linda, and the boxing champion, Ishraq Chayeb, were honored.

On the same occasion, the innovator in the field of caring for the elderly and people with special needs, who was crowned nationally and internationally, honored Aisha Beljilali, and the distinguished theater artist, Fadela Bouhanna Hashmawi.
