Registration begins for the second edition of youth focus groups – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

The Supreme Council for Youth announced today, Wednesday, that registration to participate in the second edition of youth groups focused on political participation and local development will open starting next Saturday and will continue until February 8, 2026.

This initiative comes within the framework of following up on the outcomes of the Third Algerian Youth Leaders Forum and implementing the annual program of the Supreme Youth Council 2025-2026.

Especially with regard to enhancing the capabilities of young people and enabling them to participate effectively in local development and contribute to decision-making.

The youth focus groups aim to provide a space for constructive dialogue and listening to youth’s suggestions and opinions.

Enabling them to express their concerns and perceptions related to local development, in addition to developing their skills in dialogue, analysis, and creating initiatives.

The initiative also allows young people to contribute directly to local decision-making by submitting realistic and implementable proposals that enhance their role in public and political life.
